Dear Luke, Nancy, Tim, Sarah, Megan, and Tina,
Thanks, Tina, for all the updates. I have been checking your site and Caring Bridge several times daily. I wanted all of you to know what a great turn out we had at the prayer vigil yesterday. There were about 110 people in and out, and some, like a few of that Schmitz crew, visited more than once. We know that others through the signs at Dean's, the PACC, United Community Bank, and Farmer's State Bank, and the announcement on KPRW radio were made aware and did their praying in other ways. The prayers continue for our soldiers still in Iraq and other places; for Luke's recovery, both physical and emotional; and for rest and a sense of peace to all the family and friends who are praying for Luke.
Prayers, hugs, and best wishes sent to all.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH!! Hope you had fun eating cupcakes with Luke. Did he eat any? I hope so.
Tim -- Mom and dad are going to be gone tomorrow (friday) after 3:00. they are going to Claire's "polka-dot" birthday party. IF you want me to update the journal...just call me on my cell phone. 651-485-3804. If you want to do that now from here on in....GREAT!! I will be glued to computer like everyone else is.
I am up at whitefish. I spent the past few days with mom and dad. I hope the family and tina are doing well. We are all praying like crazzzzzy here.

To Luke's family and friends,
Just wanted to say Thank You for serving our country and fighting for everything that we enjoy "back home". I am most grateful for your service and think about all of you every night. I pray for Lukes recovery and to give Luke, his family and friends strength to help in every way possible. I have a loved one that is also serving overseas at the current time. All of the soilders currently serving are greatly missed and respected by me.

News from home:
8 walleyes caught on little pine (believe it or not). I think Uncle Ray caught them.
The Lions Club donated a very cool flag and mounted it in your yard. Mom and dad say its very nice.
The beer is in the fridge.
