WELL...after a long night in the ER and a long day in ICU, questions are starting to get answered. Luke is hemolytic (sp) anemic. Meaning, his blood level is super super low..or it was I should say. He was down so far it was life threatening. He was given 4 units and finally got some pain medicine and we fought getting taken off. Lots of tests, all revealing nothing..which is a good sign so far. He has a bone marrow biopsy (ouch!) tomorrow to see if the reason is having to do with the body not making red blood cells or if he has a virus who is eating them up. i'll find out more tomorrow.

Tina,
I'm Heather Ott's mom and I just want you to know that I follow everyday what is going on with Luke and family and pray everyday for all of you. Luke is very lucky to have someone like you and a great family! That is what will give him strength and pull him through this.
