Wow, thanks for ALL the emails, I think I got like 10 about the fundraiser. Hopefully Cindy Tommervik wont mind my copywriting her information she sent. I'm too lazy to actually re-word it. All I can say is wow..thanks Cindy for the Help!
Here's where everything is at.
We chose Sunday Sept 3rd since it's a holiday weekend and most people have Monday off.

A fund to deposit proceeds has already been set up at United Community Bank in Perham & Frazee
The Patriot Guard is working on getting a contingent sent to the fundraiser. Even I was surprised when I got that call.
The National Guard is sending the Hummer over to be there. There will also be some personnel there even though the guys with the 136th are pretty thin around here right now.
Pasta Feed Sunday September 3rd from 5 - 9 pm at Frazee Restaurant
This a partial proceeds part of the fundraiser. (Dion & Carey will recoup their cost only on the food, all proceeds above that will be donated)
7:30 PM Live Auction with all donated items and the auctioneer donated his time. 100% of proceeds to be donated.
The items have come in primarily from Frazee, Perham, Detroit Lakes and Fergus Falls. With some other fringe donations.
Dion Alger from the restaurant & Susan Kay from Lakes Radio have worked tirelessly to secure these items.
Here's a cool part. Dion did a live radio interview on KBRF in Fergus Falls yesterday morning. Immediately when he got off air, he got a call from Dr. Bagan's Office in Fargo. He does lasik surgery. He donated a $3,280.00 eye surgery for the auction. Brought tears to my eyes (pun intended)

The list goes on and we will you a provide complete list later with specific items and who donated them. We currently have over $7,000 worth of products and services and the list grows daily. Many people who Dion and Susan Kay have not managed to see in person have called and asked us to pick up items they wanted to donate.

It's Peg! (Tim's cousin) Thanks for all the info- I just heard about it myself this morning - you can bet the Schmitz's on this end will be there in full force- I work at the Meritcare in DL and will spread the word there too as they are all aware of what's going on.
The other thing I wanted to mention is that I am a lab tech (21 years)& know a little about the blood & bacteria end of things. I'm sure with Derrick a good friend Dr Stolee can help with questions too but wanted to offer any information on any questions you may have regarding anemia, blood transfusions, hemoglobins, etc.
Give everybody a GREAT BIG hug and let them know we are there in spirit!! Love you guys and keep your faith! Be strong!!
